HCG — molecular reference
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a heterodimeric glycoprotein hormone used as a reference agonist at the luteinizing hormone / choriogonadotropin receptor (LHCGR). In cultured Leydig-cell and granulosa-cell models it is used to study cAMP/PKA-driven steroidogenesis, StAR expression, and downstream sex-steroid output. Supplied as a sterile lyophilized powder for reconstitution in bacteriostatic water. For laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
