Glutathione — molecular reference

Glutathione (γ-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinylglycine) is the principal low-molecular-weight thiol antioxidant in mammalian cells and a required cofactor for glutathione peroxidases and S-transferases. This reduced-form reference reagent is used in oxidative-stress, xenobiotic-conjugation, and redox-homeostasis assays across cultured hepatocytes, neurons, and immune cells. Highly sensitive to air oxidation — reconstitute immediately before use. Research use only.
